Annabel has always enjoyed the outdoors, after growing up in Zimbabwe where she was a competitive horse rider as well as being part of many of the school sports teams, she now lives locally in Portishead. Her main interest is triathlon and cycling having recently completed Cotswold Middle Distance 70.3 triathlon and Velothon Wales 140km cycle ride. She thrives on encouraging others snd challenging herself and has competed in Triathlons, Half Marathons, 10km Races, Tough Mudder and Survival of the Fittest, and she is also a regular early morning gym goer. She brings her extensive personal experiences to her treatments by understanding and being able to support her client to achieve their goals. She has also suffered some major injuries so can empathise with her clients and help coach them to regain their confidence. Outside of work and her sporting interests, she loves spending time with her kids and their energetic dog.
She is also a keen member and ride leader of Portishead Cycling Club and a ride leader for British Cycling, most weekends you will find her out with the club, leading rides or encouraging people into the club and helping them progress and reach their personal goals.
From a background of design and marketing but always having a strong interest in sports and human performance, she took a career change to work as an NHS Physiotherapy Assistant, from here she found that she became increasingly interested in manual therapy as she could see the benefits of being able to provide hands on treatment along with rehabilitation exercises. This lead her train to the highest level BTEC course in Soft Tissue Therapy before starting work privately then joining the team at Moose Hall Chiropractic & Wellness.
